Vendor Information

Savannah Local Artist Market

Artist vendor application is NOT available through our website or social media. Please join our vendors only email list to be notified when application is available.

Food vendors please contact us directly.

Couple things to keep in mind about our application process –

  1. Please be sure to include a website or social media links that include examples of your work or email photos of your work as per instructions on the application. All work must be original and produced by the artist.
  2. We do not normally accept “makers” at our Art Market (i.e. candle makers, knitters, most crafts, lotions, etc.). If you feel your work is on the artistic side rather than a maker, feel free to join our email list and submit an application.
  3. SLAM is a curated Artist Festival. We curate instead of working on a first come/first serve basis to ensure our audience has a diversity of art mediums and styles and a mix of emerging and established artists. So your application might be turned down for reasons other than your work.

Things about our event prospective vendors should know in advance –

  1. Artist keeps 100% of their sales and all sales are handled by the artist. SLAM does not take a portion of proceeds, nor do we process sales for artists.
  2. SLAM does not provide tents, tables, chairs or any other setup materials for vendors.
  3. Booth spaces can accommodate a tent no larger than 10′ x 10′. Tents are not required, however this is an open ball field with no shade. It can get quite hot on warmer days and your art will be exposed to direct sunlight without a tent or some type of shade over. You maybe bring whatever type of cover you wish, please have it aesthetically pleasing presence.
  4. Our event is held in an open Baseball field surrounded by a fence. Parking is provided outside the fence for vendors. You will be able to drive in drop off your setup materials before parking your car. So be aware you will need to walk to and from your car. We do try to accommodate vendors with mobility issues, but keep in mind it’s on a first come first serve basis as those spots is limited in number.
  5. Since it’s a grassy field, you might encounter ants, mosquitoes and other biting/stinging insects. Please plan accordingly.
  6. Setup time is the morning of the event, normally starts at 7:30am. Everyone must arrive no later than 9:30am. Events start at 10am.
  7. Breakdown time is 4pm when the event ends. We do not normally allow breakdown prior to 4pm as we still have customers coming to the event. If you will require an early leave, please make note in your application or contact after acceptance.
  8. We ask all vendors to help promote the event on the website, social media and or email lists. A PDF flyer will be provided to all accepted vendors.
  9. There is no electricity for the vendors.
  10. Rain date normally falls on the following Saturday. We normally try to announce postponement 48-72 hours in advance of the event.
  11. We appreciate all vendors patience before, during and after the event. We are a 2 person team with a couple volunteers. Our mission is to support local & regional artist, as we too are artists!
